Delete your account and data

You can permanently delete your Roux account and personal data at any time.

From the app (fastest)

1. Open Roux and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account & data.
3. Confirm.

Your account and personal data are erased, and deletion cascades to derived data (search embeddings, cached images, scaled copies). This cannot be undone.

By email

If you can't access the app, email privacy@getroux.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

What is deleted and when

• Deleted: your account, profile, saved recipes and notes, lists, photos you added, push tokens, and the data derived from your recipes.
• Timing: we complete erasure within 30 days; backups are purged within our backup cycle (up to 30 days).
• Shared households: recipes you added to a household you share with are handled per our household rules — the household keeps its copy of shared recipes while your personal account and data are removed. Ask us if you'd like specifics for your situation.
